Govt. Industrial Training Institute Kondagaon was established in 2008 by the team of professional entrepreneurs, which includes sound technical background & qualified Engineers with a mission to promote quality vocational/ Technical training to the students of rural and urban areas. The instate(s) has a mission of imparting technical education to create a new technical knowledge based craftsmen who will be capable of facing the challenges of the severe competition in the Liberalized, Privatized and Globalised era. The institute also focuses on self-employment by teaching hard skills training to the students. It gives a vision of the 21st century. The management has taken care of the institution in providing job-oriented Vocational, Certificate level courses which are not only relevant for the changing needs of the time with regard to human resources and man power but also prepare students for self-employment. The institute(s) run Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Diesel & COPA courses of CTS Scheme affiliated to NCVT (National Council of Vocation Training) which is the serving organization at National level for the programmers relating to Craftsman Training Scheme under DGET (Directorate General of Employment and Training), Ministry of Labor Government of India, New Delhi, and The ITI is administered by Directorate Technical Education Govt. of India. Campus Recruitment Programme conducted by the Institute(s) is a very vital activity for the young Technicians aspiring for appropriate placement. Almost all the trainees have secured firm jobs in Government Departments, Multinational Private/ Public Sector Undertakings.
